AUZiX

A personal Linux workstation with Enlightenment, a small core and room to make it your own. AUZiX explores a readable filesystem layout through its package factory. AlpinE / E’ifyd brings that workstation experience to native Alpine Linux today.

Meet AlpinE / E’ifyd

An Enlightenment workstation using Alpine’s standard paths, native APK packages and repositories. E applications, themes and wallpapers sit alongside familiar workstation software, Flatpak and Podman.

This is a precursor to AUZiX and an alternate Alpine-native edition in its own right. The AUZiX factory’s future path transformations should preserve this desktop experience.

Development status

AlpinE / E’ifyd is the current Alpine-native workstation preview. AUZiX retains its alternate filesystem goal; its factory work remains separate. Package publication is not a claim that installation and reboot validation are complete.
